Guided Support Services
Practical Support. Clear Direction. One Step at a Time.
Sometimes, knowing what you need to do is easier than actually getting it done. You may have a plan, a referral, an appointment to make, paperwork to complete, or a goal you want to work toward—but everyday obstacles can make it difficult to take the next step.
Ataraxia’s Guided Support Services provides affordable, practical, non-clinical support to help individuals navigate everyday challenges, connect with resources, stay accountable, and work toward greater independence.
This service is designed to bridge the gap between therapy and everyday life by helping turn recommendations and personal goals into manageable, practical steps.
What Is Guided Support?
Guided Support is a non-therapeutic case management and support service focused on practical problem-solving, organization, resource navigation, planning, and accountability.
Support may include helping you:
Identify and organize your goals
Break larger tasks into manageable steps
Create routines and weekly plans
Navigate community and support services
Find and connect with appropriate resources
Prepare for appointments
Work through forms, applications, and paperwork
Develop organization systems
Stay accountable to goals
Plan for school, work, or community involvement
Build strategies for greater independence
Coordinate with existing providers, when appropriate and with your consent
The goal is simple:
Help you move from “I know what I need to do” to “I’m ready to take my next step.”
Support for Different Life Circumstances
Guided Support may be particularly useful for individuals experiencing challenges related to:
ADHD and executive functioning
Brain injury and cognitive changes
Social or community integration
Returning to work or school
Post-therapy support
Waiting for other services
Support is individualized and focused on your goals, your circumstances, and the practical barriers you are experiencing.
The Goal Is Progress, Not Perfection
Life does not always require another plan.
Sometimes, it requires someone to help you figure out what to do next. Whether you’re waiting for services, transitioning out of therapy, trying to establish a routine, navigating resources, or simply feeling stuck, Guided Support provides practical assistance to help you take the next step.
